M2 Homes has a wide variety of upgrades and options you can add to our Gold Standard (See Below) Home. Please keep in mind that we'll need to plan for these up front, add to the contract as an addendum and agree that the price will be an estimate amount, subject to final completion costs. Our goal is to customize your home with the highest quality materials to add value to your home for years of enjoyment. The above kitchen is representative of Gold Standard ceramic tile, upgraded Cherry cabinets, Granite tops, & Stainless appliances.

Adding a full basement can add unlimited opportunities to your home. Yes, it will cost from $10,000 to $25,000+ to add the full unfinished basement, depending on the size of your home. A place to get away from it all, that's cool in the summer and warm in the winter will be worth every penny, not to mention all the options you'll have with the space. A home theatre room, teen room, work shop, much needed storage, computer lab or office.

Some other options to consider are as follows:   

Cherry or Maple cabinets (G/S is Custom built stained Oak) $2,500 to $10,000

Cabinets to house a wet bar or entertainment center: $1,200 to $12,000

Granite or Corian countertops: $2200 to $5,500+

Tile backsplash around countertops: $1000 to $1500+

Stainless-steel appliances (partial or full): $750 to $2500+

Built-in bookcase / computer desk or cabinet: $1500 to $3500

Bedroom fireplace (vented): $3500

Additional fireplace (ventless): $2000 to $2500

Wall sconces (four to six): $100 to $250 each

Upgraded paint (darker color for media room): $500 per room

Upgraded carpet (patterned or textured): $1,300 to $4,700

Upgrade from carpet to 3/4" Select solid hardwood: $3.00 to $10.00 per sq. ft.

Upgrade tile from Gold Standard Ceramic or Porcelin tile.* $1.00 to $2.00 sq. ft.

Built-in home Sound Sytem with Intercom / CD / Radio: $1500 to $2500+

Home theater audio/video systems: $499 (pre-wire) to $10,000+ (custom & complete)
